Hi everyone! There’s nothing quite like having a baby and completely falling off the grid! I started writing this post back in October while I was still on maternity leave, and I decided today that I should finally finish it (four months later, oops!).
Ava recently turned six months old, and she is just the sweetest little baby! Every little thing she does amazes me. I cannot believe how fast she’s growing!
We finally started feeding her solids last week. So far we’ve tried baby cereal, pears, sweet potatoes, and bananas. She was not a fan of any of it at first, but she seems to actually enjoy pears now. I’m going to make some new food tomorrow for her to try. I think I’m going to try apples and peas. Hopefully she won’t grow up to be a picky eater like her momma!
I’m going to make this short and sweet, so here are a few photos of Ava’s nursery.
I’m so proud of how it all turned out! I went with a floral theme, and the main colors used were gray, white, and pink. All of the furniture and most of the décor is from Target, Hobby Lobby, and Pottery Barn. The wooden name sign, curtains, and paper flowers are all from Etsy. If you have any questions about where specific items are from, comment below and let me know!
